D1.1 Insights into barriers for sharing personal data related to food

This report presents the results of a consumer research study within the SPOON project, which investigated the main barriers and enablers influencing the sharing of food-related personal data in the context of citizen science initiatives. This research applied a mixed-methods approach combining a scoping review of 41 academic publications with qualitative validation through focus groups conducted across six Citizen Science Labs in Europe.
